His Majesty Hussein Ibn Talal King of Jordan - Amman

We have the honour to address Ourself to Your Majesty to inform You of Our fervent wishes that the military truce already established in the Middle East may be opportunely extended.

We nourish the firm confidence that Jordan, for its part, will do all that is possible so that the truce may be confirmed in such a way as to make it possible to begin peace talks, and so that the important problem of the palestinian refugees may receive a just and adequate solution.

We present to Your Majesty the assurances of Our highest consideration, and We pray almighty God for the peace, tranquillity and progress of the peoples of Jordan.

Tenemos el honor de dirigirnos a Su Majestad para comunicarle nuestros fervientes deseos de que la tregua militar ya establecida en el Oriente Medio pueda ser oportunamente ampliada.

Mantenemos la firme esperanza de que Jordania, por su parte, hará todo lo que sea posible para que la tregua pueda ser consolidada en tal manera que haga posible comenzar las conversaciones de paz, y que al gran problema de los refugiados palestinenses pueda dársele una justa y adecuada solución.

Presentamos a Su Majestad la certeza de nuestra más alta consideración, y rogamos al Dios Todopoderoso por la paz, tranquilidad y progreso del pueblo de Jordania.
